Entry Hall [Images open in new window]
The Entry Hallway looking East.

The entry hallway, looking East. The front door has a leaded glass panel (see exterior shots of house). The full-glass storm door has a keyed lock and deadbolt that match the hardware throughout the rest of the house (installed 2004). Natural hardwood, laminate flooring was installed in 2005. The entry features vinyl wallpaper.

Kitchen (12' x 10') / Utility [Images open in new window]

The countertops were replaced in 2005 with neutral colored laminated surfaces that feature a modern rounded edge.

The kitchen looking West

The kitchen features a pass-thou window that looks into the living room and all cabinet hardware has been updated with satin silver finished fixtures. The kitchen sink was replaced with a 7" deep, double-basin, brushed aluminum sink. The faucet is a polished silver finish. A new "In-Sink-A-Erator" disposal was installed along with the new countertops. The kitchen is equipped with a General Electric Profile automatic dishwasher.

The kitchen also features a large, custom, recessed fluorescent light panel that provides ample light for cooking. The flooring is a light, neutral colored vinyl in the kitchen and utility room. The door that closes off the utility room was removed, but is stored in the garage.

The cooking area of the kitchen features a General Electric 26" self-cleaning oven, a Frigidaire 30" ceramic, radiant-heat, electric cook top (2004), and Frigidaire 30", 1.6 cu. ft. combination microwave/hood/vent/light with smart sensor cooking (2004).

The living room features a raised ceiling, natural gas fireplace, directional lighting, and vertical blinds on patio door.

The fireplace and bookshelves.

The fireplace features a brick hearth that runs the width of the room. The custom built-in bookshelves are both wired with an electrical outlet and feature low voltage lighting.

Bath / Hallways [Images open in new window]
The hallway looking South.

The main hallway looking South. The hall closet (left side of hall) is equipped with cable, electrical, and CAT5e wiring and includes a 802.11b wireless router (cable modem not included). The central location of the closet is perfect for a high-speed wireless access point. Directly opposite of the hall closet is bedroom #1, at the end of the hall is the main bathroom, to the right is bedroom #2, and to the left is the master bedroom.

The hallway looking West (bedroom #2). The cabinet provides additional storage for bedding and linens. The smoke detector is located central to all bedrooms in this hallway.

The main bathroom was updated in 2004 with a new solid surface counter top, faucet, light fixture, bath hardware/accessories and paint. The main bath features a large mirror, full tub/shower and heat lamp/vent combination.

We use the first bedroom as a home-office, but it is spacious enough to accommodate a full bedroom set of furniture. (It is actually 2' larger than Bedroom #2.)

Bedroom #1 is wired for cable television and is 'hard-wired' with two CAT5 outlets that link to the wireless router in the hall closet.
